Welcoming Thanksgiving Centerpiece Ideas

Thanksgiving will be here before you know it. It's time to start thinking about what your centerpiece will look like this year. These centerpiece ideas will make your table stand out this Thanksgiving.

Stay spooky:

Halloween is over, but that doesn't mean that the scary decorations need to go. Pick up a Halloween-themed table runner, get some fake spiders or wrap some cobwebs around your centerpiece. If you want a more subtle Halloween look, use dark colors for your centerpieces like deep burgundy, emerald green or black. This option is a non-traditional way to decorate for Thanksgiving, but who can resist Halloween decorations?

Keep it Traditional:

You really can't go wrong by keeping your table decor traditional. Traditional designs can feel homey and get everyone in the holiday mood! If you want a timeless Thanksgiving look, stick with colors such as bright orange, yellow, brown and red. Placing a cornucopia in the middle of your table will symbolize traditional Thanksgiving values such as family, gratitude and generosity. Adding a pumpkin, gourds or dried-out barley to your centerpiece will also create a customary feel.

Take a look outside and see if anything catches your eye. Sometimes the best decor finds are right outside of your door. Use a real pumpkin or gather some pinecones to add a natural touch to your centerpiece. Adding greenery such as placing a vine plant around your decor or putting succulents in the middle of your centerpiece can also do the trick. You can never go wrong with a natural look.

Minimalist Centerpiece:

If you want to let the food speak for itself, choosing a minimalistic theme is definitely for you. Use neutral colors such as light green, light blue, light red and brown. Sometimes simple is the best way to go! Especially if your dishes are bright and colorful.
