Tidiness has no shortcut, a clean home requires hard work and motivation. However, there is one golden rule for keeping your home clutter-free...
If you don’t use it everyday, put it away.
This simple rule will help you narrow down what should stay in-view. Whatever you don’t use daily, find it a place that’s out of sight and out of mind.
For example, if you feel like your kitchen counters are getting over-crowded, think of the golden rule. If you use your coffee maker every morning, keep it out. If you use your KitchenAid mixer once in blue moon during birthdays or holidays, put it away. Cut down on your overflowing utensil jar to only the things you use everyday for cooking. Soon, your kitchen will be looking tidy and clutter-free.
The golden rule applies to all rooms and surfaces, especially in the bedroom or bathroom where there always seems to be a collection of unnecessary clutter.
