Now that a lot of us are spending more time at home, why not design your space to be more pleasant to work in? Make the never ending chore of laundry run more efficient with these organizational hacks.
Hang the Ironing Board and Hangers
Ironing boards are bulky and take up a lot of space, which can be a problem if you have limited space. The best option is to store it out of the way with robe hooks. They are simple, affordable, and multi-purpose!
For all those pesky hangers, try hanging them up on shelving brackets.
Use magnets
Your washer and dryer offer spacious magnetic surfaces that you can use for organization. Use a magnetic rack to keep soap, dryer sheets, and other laundry necessities nearby.
You can also use magnetic clips or hooks to de-clutter your space of single socks. Clip them to the washer/dryer or other board for easy storage until you find the other match!
Hang Your Lint Holder
If you don't have room for a trashcan in your laundry room, walking back and forth with the dryer lint can get old. Try a wall mounted mailbox! It takes up zero floor space and makes discarding lint easy.
Labels and Glass Canisters
Use glass canisters to store your detergent pods, dryer sheets, and clothespins. Put them on a shelf near your washer and dryer for a lovely display.
After folding all your sheets, comforters, and towels, they all start to look the same. To make sure you never mix up your linens again, label the shelves to keep everything organized.
