Have you ever wondered how hotel bedding looks so luxurious? It might seem like you have mimicked every trick in the book, but I've got the secrets to get the high-end hotel look you have been dreaming of. We will be talking about how to style pillows and throw blankets on a bed depending on the size.
Queen/Full
Pillow Tips-
For a full look do two 26 x 26 pillows in the back, two 20 x 30 pillows in the middle and one 14 x 18 pillow in the front.
For a mid-full look (if moving a bunch of pillows isn't your thing) do two 26 x 26 pillows in the back, two 22 x 22 pillows in the middle and one 18 x18 pillow in the front.
For a simple and clean look do two 24 x 24 pillows in the back and one 16 x 32 pillow in the front.
Throw Blanket Tips-
For the full or medium look, I would recommend folding a throw to an extra comforter at the top for a fluffier look, as well as adding a throw at the end of the bed. If you are looking for a more simple look, choose one or the other. You can either drape it across or fold it neatly.
King
Pillow Tips-
For a full look do three 26 x 26 pillows in the back, two 20 x 30 pillows in the middle, and a 14 x 36 pillow in the front.
For a mid-full look do three 26 x 26 pillows in the back, two 24 x 24 pillows in the middle and a 24 x 24 pillow in the front. This look is also very square. If you prefer the same shaped pillow, this look may be for you.
For a simple and clean look do three 26 x 26 pillows in the back and one 16 x 46 pillow in the front.
Throw Blanket Tips-
For the full or medium look, I would recommend folding a throw to an extra comforter at the top for a fluffier look, as well as adding a throw at the end of the bed. If you are looking for a more simple look, choose one or the other. You can either drape it across or fold it neatly.
