Halloween will be here before you know it, which means it’s time to talk about the stylish trends that you will be seeing this year. Here are some great holiday décor tips that you can follow while staying trendy!

Modern Black
Black will always be a great color choice for Halloween. A solid matte black on the other hand is trending the most! It puts a unique twist on your décor while still maintaining dark contrast and simplicity. If you are looking for a modern and high-end look, search for matte black Halloween décor. If you aren’t really into the Halloween look, but you still want to add a little bit of darkness to your home for the holiday, swap your throw blankets and pillows to black for a noticeable yet subtle update.
Metallic
Metallic décor has been trending, not just for the holiday! Metallic paint automatically increases the value of ordinary items. You can either buy décor that is already metallic, or spray paint ordinary Halloween accessories to give them a new look. Warm metallic is specifically trending, such as brass, gold, or bronze. Go with a matte finish for a more modern and less dramatic look.

Natural Elements
If you like a bohemian look, this one's for you. Natural wood elements are taking the stage. To get a spooky look with natural elements incorporated, find some curvy, creepy branches outside or at your local craft store. Then, place them in a black vase. You can stop here for a subtle look, or you can take it a step further by adding artificial spider webs around the branches to complete the Halloween look.
Hand-Crafted Touches
Whether it be carved pumpkins, a painting or something you found on Etsy, handcrafted touches are really in. They are unique and you know that no one else will have it in their home!
Wall Art
Wall art is also trending right now. You can find some digital prints on Wayfair, Etsy or Amazon and make a gallery or swap a couple pieces out of your existing gallery. You can also frame these pieces and place them standing alone for a spotlight look.
Vintage Details
Have you checked your local vintage shop lately? Vintage and retro looks are taking over lately. If you aren’t much for searching, you can also find décor that has a vintage look online. Vintage is everywhere!

Traditional Fall Décor
Of course, the traditional color scheme of oranges and browns will always be around. If you like a more traditional look, incorporate a couple of the trends above with a traditional color scheme to give it a modern twist.
